Washington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera took to social media Sunday night to give an update on rookie running back Brian Robinson Jr. Robinson was shot Sunday in the Washington area in an apparent carjacking attempt and admitted to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
I just got done visiting w/Brian. He is in good spirits and wanted me to thank everyone for their kind words, prayers & support. He wants his teammates to know he appreciates them all for reaching out and he loves them all & will be back soon doing what he does best.
We will continue to provide any updates on Robinson as the details become available. Our thoughts are with Robinson and his family at this time.
