AC Milan have reportedly ruled out a move for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku with their focus locked on capturing the signature of Divock Origi once his contract expires at Liverpool in the summer.
Ex-Inter Milan man Lukaku rejoined the London club in the summer for a fee of around £97 million, but the Belgian has not fit in with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel's plans and finds himself out of form.
A takeover is imminent at AC Milan and, with new funds available, the club are looking for attacking reinforcements to help them get back to their former glories. A move for Origi is said to be very close to being confirmed.

After a difficult year back at Stamford Bridge, Lukaku has been linked with a move away already, but the sanctions in place currently at Chelsea mean they cannot dip into the transfer market to replace the striker.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Milan are waiting 'for the right moment' to 'define the agreements' with Origi - who will go down in Liverpool history after scoring the goal that secured the Reds' sixth Champions League crown in Madrid in 2019.
