A court in Romania's capital has ordered internet influencer Andrew Tate to be placed under house arrest for 30 days as prosecutors investigate a case involving allegations of human trafficking of minors and sex with a minor. The decision by the Bucharest Tribunal follows the detention of six individuals, including Tate and his brother Tristan, after police raids on multiple homes in Bucharest and nearby Ilfov county.

While Tristan Tate has been placed under judicial control, Andrew Tate's spokesperson emphasized the brothers' denial of all allegations and their commitment to proving their innocence. The Tate brothers, both former kickboxers and dual British-U.S. citizens, are already facing trial in Romania in a separate human trafficking case.

The new investigation by Romania’s anti-organized crime agency DIICOT focuses on allegations of human trafficking, sexual exploitation of minors, forming an organized criminal group, money laundering, and influencing statements. The defendants are accused of using coercive methods to exploit vulnerable victims, forcing them to produce pornographic materials for online distribution.
