Romance Retreat: Glaswegians needed for 'grown up dating series' as Davina McCall announced as host

A new dating series is soon set to air on our screens with Glaswegians needed for the 'grown up dating series'.

Titled The Romance Retreat, Davina McCall has been announced as its host with her saying that she "manifested" her role.

Taking to Instagram the 55-year-old said: "Omg. I manifested and it came true!! I’ll be hosting a brand NEW grown up dating series for ITV1!!

"This is a show for single parents who have lived a life, have stories to tell about their dating pasts and deserve another chance at love and I’m gonna help you. It will all take place in the most romantic countryside location!!

"We are still casting so if u want my help finding love and u have a child who is over 18, what are you waiting for ??? (particularly u eligible men...where are you?!)."

So if you are a single parent, and living in Glasgow, here's how you can sign up as well as what you need to know about the show.

The Romance Retreat - how to apply

The show has been dubbed a 'middle-aged Love Island' and whilst it's not yet yet known whether The Romance Retreat will include a cash prize, the idea behind the show will be similar.

Adult children can nominate their single parents to go on the show too however applicants must be 18 years of age or over on or before May 1, 2023.

Applications close on March 31 so you will need to be fast.
