Complaints have flooded in over an interview by Roman Kemp talking to Keanu Reeves. The I'm a Celebrity presenter was interviewing the John Wick star on Capital FM.
But the interview was slammed by fans who branded it "cringe" and "toe curling". Roman, aged 30, sat down with Keanu for a chat about British culture, BirminghamLive reports.
Roman quizzed Keanu - a star of the Matrix - on whether he knew who Joe Wicks was. A baffled Keanu said: "Fantastic! I know it's hard to believe but John Wick doesn't really wanna fight, so let's just talk about life and fitness, John Wick hashtag fitness!"
Roman then told Keanu that John Wick sounded like hardware chain store Wickes. "For when you just have to get it done, I'm gonna Wickes my bathroom, I'm gonna Wickes my new kitchen!" Keanu said.
Roman ended the interview with an impression of the Hollywood star. "So, I try to change the face first, and how I do that it, you're about to sneeze, lean back, eyes are gone, and you're now confused about the sneeze, and then it goes, "what?" (impersonating Keanu] 'so you see, what I'm tryin' to do here?'" he said.
Sharing a video of the interview, Capital itself wrote: "Is this the most awkward interview of all time?!" A fan replied: "Oh my goodness, that’s utter cringe. Keanu is such a lovely gentleman, I felt for him big time watching this!!"
"Had to turn over," a second said. Kate defended Roman, writing: "Roman causes me only positive emotions always (however, so is his dad, to be honest)." Cookie said: "Most uncomfortable interview I’ve seen in a long time, what a wasted opportunity to ask some good questions."

"So is the whole sleepy-eye thing the best take when the subject you're mocking is of mixed-Asian background?," Yis said. Bridget said: "What a waste of Keanu's time. I don't get it @romankemp you get the chance to interview only the best actor ever and you ask him all these silly things....."
