What does it feel like to eat £10k? Roman Kemp says 'it tastes like regret' after finding one of Cadbury's half white, half milk chocolate winning creme eggs... and eating it.
The Capital FM star and TV personality didn't realise he had just stumbled upon a winning egg. Having unwrapped the mouth-watering treat, he shared a picture on Twitter, writing: "What is this??? HALF WHITE HALF MILK CHOCOLATE?? @CadburyUK". The image showed the presenter holding up a two tone chocolate egg. While you could only see his hand, the remains of the wrapper and the egg in the image, he appeared to be relaxing watching TV.
One person helpfully replied: "Erm you’ll find that might be worth up to £10K No joke!! Hope you haven’t ate it!!", another added: "OMG!!!! I think you have literally won a prize with that!!!!" with a third explaining: "Omg that’s the rare double chocolate egg??? Worth £10k in their new competition, it says the person who finds it has to take a photo of it, standing on one leg, wearing a black top and white trousers and I’m totally making this up sorry". "Going out on a limb here but think its a half white and half milk chocolate", pointed out another."

Roman followed up the post and added, all in caps: "I have already eaten it and people are saying it's worth £10k". As the replies to the post flooded in, Kemp added: "I have eaten it. What do I do now? Helppppppppp". Then, including a crying face emoji, he added: "People saying it's a prank or that I've Tippexed it. I F******** wish".
One helpful person posted a 'How to claim' notice", with others saying that he just needed the number or code in the wrapper adding "or have you binned that??".
Another follower shared a link to a Cadbury's ad which read: "Win up to £10,000, but you won't get to eat it. Sorry." The chocolate treats have been hidden in supermarkets and stores around the country. The competition being run by the famous chocolate firm, is running until April 9. Eggs should not be eaten.
Roman, who shared his tweet on Sunday, even asked his morning radio show listeners for help on the matter, begging someone from Cadbury to get in touch with him. He said: "Someone who works for Cadburys and listens to the show, can you please come and talk to me? It's a dark time right now!"
Followers of the former I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! contestant wanted to know how the story ended. One follower wrote: "I need to know the outcome of this!", another added: "I'm so invested in this.."
