Roma striker Tammy Abraham addresses his future amid Manchester United transfer links

AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham has refused to be drawn on speculation concerning his future amid reports connecting him with a move to Manchester United.

The 25-year-old, who has gone from strength-to-strength since joining Roma from Chelsea almost two years ago, is being strongly linked with a return to England ahead of the upcoming transfer window.

United are intent on adding a new striker to their ranks this summer and Tottenham Hotspur ace Harry Kane has been identified as manager Erik ten Hag's top target. Napoli ace Victor Osimhen is also understood to be high up on the Dutchman's wish list.

Abraham, though, has been widely touted as a possible fall-back option for United. He has plundered 36 goals for Roma across the last two seasons and is expected to start next week's Europa League final against Sevilla in Budapest.

And it is the clash with Sevilla that the former Bristol City loanee is fully focused on, meaning he is attempting to block out ongoing rumours.

"I think in football there are always rumours," said Abraham. "The media hear things before I hear things.

"My main focus is the final. God is in control of the future, whatever the future holds for me we'll see. My main focus is to bring another trophy to this wonderful club."

Abraham, who has scored a disappointing nine goals this season in comparison to the 27 he netted last term, helped Roma win in the inaugural Europa Conference League last season, meaning he is on the cusp of winning his second European trophy in as many seasons. He also has Champions League and UEFA Super Cup winners medals from his time at Chelsea.

The striker made a total of 82 appearances for the Londoners, scoring 30 goals and registering 12 assists. Chelsea also have a buy-back option to re-sign him.
