Filming for big-budget 1970s-set IRA thriller Borderland was halted by an unexpected arrival in the form of a Tennent's Lager van.
The hilarious incident took place yesterday as high-octane scenes - involving replica weapons - were being shot on West Campbell Street in the city centre, which sees Glasgow double up as London for the forthcoming movie.
A photo taken looking onto the film set shows the white Tennent's lorry - emblazoned with a red 'T' symbol and the phrase 'Dedicated to you' on the rear - parked up at an angle on the street, which is populated by film crew and vintage cars.
Office worker Kirsty Robson took to Twitter to share the picture yesterday, along with the caption: "My favourite thing today was watching Borderland filming in Glasgow be disrupted by a rogue Tennent's lorry from my office window."

Speaking to Glasgow Live about the incident, Kirsty said: "We were just looking from the window at filming and there was a telephone box proper blocking the lane the van needed to go down, so they had to move it to let it past. Just amongst all the classic cars and film set, the Tennent's van felt so hilariously Glaswegian.
"I think it was also just the way the streets all had Westminster street signs, not the visual we were expecting!"
Filming got underway this week on the ''vengeance-fuelled chase movie' - which stars Felicity Jones and Colin Morgan - in the area around Somerset Place and Elderslie Street in the Kelvingrove area of the city before moving to the city centre.
A letter sent to businesses and residents in the city centre, seen by Glasgow Live, confirmed that filming would involve 'chase stunt sequences, action vehicle movements, a simulated crash and the use of replica weapons'.
