Rogue bridesmaid gets kicked off hen do after demanding guests follow 6 'boring' rules

A devout bridesmaid has been slammed for trying to take over a bride's hen do with her "outrageous" and "boring" rules. Wanting to make sure the hen do aligned with the "moral code out Father inscribed in her heart", she outlined six rules for the bride and her 17 other bridesmaids to follow throughout their Vegas trip.

She shared the 'Vegas Rules' with them all via email, saying she can't wait to "share God" with them all and "cleanse" their sins together. Her email, which has been shared on Reddit, starts: "I'm really excited for our upcoming trip to Vegas. I think it'll be such a good time and we'll all finally get to bond.

"I know Vegas is known as 'sin city', but despite this, I still have to uphold the moral code our Father inscribed in my heart. Due to this, I have some ground rules that I'd like everyone to follow. These will not only help me remain aligned with the church, but also keep us all out of trouble."

She proudly shared how she has found an "appropriate church" and has spoken to their Pastor about attending the Sunday service.

"Sunday at 7.15am, we'll be Ubering to the church. I can't wait to share God with all of you. I think it'll be a nice way to cleanse us of our sins from that week."

Her second rule is for there to be "no hard liquor" in the hotel room as it's her first time "being of age in an environment with prevalent drinking".

She added: "I don't want to be tempted by these foul drinks. I'm not sure how I'll react to rum or tequila or vodka and I'd like to test these in more controlled environments. Please stick to light beers and red wine."

On top of this, the bridesmaid banned the 17 others from having sex in their hotel rooms because there's "no need to have premarital sex".

"Please don't invite random men back to the suite. I do not see a need for them to be there or know where we are staying. I don't want to be robbed," she added.

Setting out another rule, she said: "Please Venmo me $50 (£40) each as I will be buying groceries for the hotel room. The last thing we need is to be famished in the desert heat."

For her final rule, she reminded the other bridesmaids about the dangers of taking drugs - and asked them to stay clear of them.

"I think that is all for now, but I am sure more will come up as time draws closer. Can't wait to see you all!"

After receiving the email, the bride quickly and quietly uninvited her from her hen do.

While most users could appreciate her rules against taking drugs and drinking excessive alcohol, others slammed her for "pushing her religion on to others" who may worship other Gods or none at all.

One user said: "Wow. Just wow. If I were the bride/bridal party, I'd tell her she's free to do what she wants, but there is no way in hell she's going to dictate the terms of the weekend."

Another user added: "The absolute lack of self awareness is staggering."

A third user said: "You are a guest. You don't get to make the rules. Even if you did, no one would follow these because they are insane."
