Roger Federer can’t help but hit shots that make us question the laws of physics, even in the final match of his career.

The 20-time Grand Slam singles champion is considered one of the greatest men’s tennis players of all time, but he’s calling it a career after 24 years and 103 ATP singles titles — the second most of all time.

In the final match of his career at the Laver Cup in London, Federer teamed up with longtime rival Rafael Nadal to represent Team Europe in a doubles matchup against US Open semifinalist Francis Tiafoe and Jack Sock of Team World.

In the first set, Federer somehow weaved a shot through the literal corner of the net in one of the most impressive feats of precision I’ve ever seen.

Seriously, how is this possible?

Even the announcers couldn’t get over it, remarking that they had never seen anything quite like it before. With all eyes on the final match of Federer’s illustrious career, fans were absolutely stunned by the mind-boggling shot.
