Rodrigo believes Leeds United 'deserved more' from their 2-2 draw against West Ham United at Elland Road on Wednesday. The Spaniard scored a 70th minute equaliser to salvage a point for the Whites, and maintain their position in 14th place.
Wilfried Gnonto had fired Leeds into the lead inside 28 minutes, only for West Ham to storm ahead courtesy of goals from Lucas Paqueta and Gianluca Scamacca either side of half-time.
Rodrigo grabbed an equaliser 20 minutes from time, and also had a header spectacularly saved by Lukasz Fabianski in the final seconds of second half stoppage time.
The Spaniard, who hit double figures for the season, used West Ham's contrasting form from the previous season to highlight the competitiveness of the Premier League, but insists Leeds will 'keep fighting'.
"All the games are important," Rodrigo told LUTV. "We are competitors, we want to win all the games. That's what we work for, we work hard during the week.
"The level of the league is super high. West Ham last season were fighting for Europe, and they are now in a complicated moment as well. We deserved more from this game, but that's what we have. We have to keep going and working hard."
