Rod Stewart cheered on his team from the sidelines in Glasgow last night as he attended the much anticipated Celtic and Rangers match.
The Celtic-daft rocker took his two sons Alastair and Aiden, who he shares with wife Penny Lancaster, to Celtic Park to enjoy the Glasgow Derby, along with his other son Liam Stewart.
Snapped sitting in the stands, Rod wore his infamous red tartan suit and watched on as the Hoops went to the top of the league table.
Rod's son Alastair took to Instagram to share footage of the Stewart family outing of them singing along to 'You'll Never Walk Alone' and also cheering as Celtic scored another goal.
Rod's son Liam, who he shares with former wife Rachel Hunter, smiled for the camera as the crowd erupted after another goal from the Hoops and Rod could be seen cuddling his pal in delight.
It appears that the Stewart clan travelled up to Glasgow via private jet as Liam shared footage of the brothers on the plush jet carrying on and throwing sweets into youngest son Aiden's mouth.
Just yesterday, the 77-year-old called on the club's hierarchy to bury the hatchet and be the instigators behind moving back to the derby away supports of old.
Last night's match took place without travelling fans for the second time this season after the first Ibrox match was an all-Gers affair in the stands.
In 2018 Rangers cut the visiting allocation by 90 per cent before this season Celtic told their rivals they could not guarantee their fans could attend because of Covid fears.
Rod said that he's sad the boards of the clubs have taken the "childish" decision to abolish the away end for the first two derbies of the season.
The singer told TalkSport: "I'm so glad you mentioned that on the ban on Rangers fans - it's so childish.
"It really ruins the atmosphere. We must get back to normal.
"It's great when the fans are singing back and forth to each other, taking the mickey out of each other. It's what football is all about.
"We have to go high when they go low, and vice-versa.
"Someone's got to come out and say, we are the bigger club, we are going to have the supporters back."
