After delighting fans at Edinburgh Castle, Rod Stewart set off on a 'specially made' tour of the city.
The Maggie May singer took to the stage on Thursday night, performing some of his biggest hits despite rainy conditions. He's set to play again on Friday night, and chose to fill his day with a tour of Leith.
Along with his sister, Mary, the star took part in a tour that was made just for them by Invisible Cities. Their father, Robert Stewart, was born in Leith and died in 1990.

Rod and Mary checked out the Leith Links, went along to the Shore and finished up at the Docks as they explored the streets their father once walked. Images show the megastar resting on a wall outside the Tesco and soft play centre, near to the Spey Lounge pub.
Rod even released a song in tribute for his father, Touchline, which was released last year. In it he sings: "A Scotsman and plumber by trade."
A spokesperson for Invisible Cities said: "We are delighted to say that Invisible (Edinburgh) which is part of Invisible Cities, has taken international rock star Rod Stewart and his sister for a specially made tour of Leith where their father grew up and lived in.
"Starting this morning, the tour led by Dakota took them along Leith Links, The Shore and finished with a special visits to the Docks. Stewart and his sister wanted to learn more about the history of the area and understand what the community is like nowadays.
"The tour was a collaboration between Invisible Cities and the Leith Community Fund, as they are working on a long term partnership and launching more activities, events and impact in Leith."
