Rod Stewart's hilarious response as fan shares bizarre grassy building lookalike

Sir Rod Stewart shared his tickled reaction after a fan shared a photo of a grassy building, which they said looked like him.

Rod, 77, reacted in good humour to the tweet, where a fan shared a photo of a bunker hidden in a hill surrounded by grass.

The account posted the photo, where the grass on top of the bunker is reminiscent of that to Rod's iconic blond, signature spikey hair do.

As they posted the photo on the social media platform, the user wrote: "Rod Stewart is looking well."

Rod later came across the hilarious tweet likening him to the building and responded to it on his Twitter to react to the cheeky jibe.

He wrote: "F**k sake" followed by a laughing face emoji, indicating he didn't take offence to the joke.

Fans then replied to continue the joke as one quoted some lyrics from his song Stay With Me as they wrote: "With a face like that, you got nothin' to laugh about".

Another praised Rod as they wrote: "Nice to see a celebrity embracing humour. Good on you Rod".

"Every bunker tells a story, don't it?," a third penned.

It comes after Rod poked fun at Elton John on stage earlier this week.

Rod made the cheeky dig at Elton, 75, when he did a impersonation of him live on stage last Wednesday.

He posted a video of himself wearing a pair of glitzy sunglasses and a vibrant blazer and tucking his upper lip away to show his teeth.

Rod is sitting down and pretending to play the piano while holding the microphone in the clip, which he shared on his Instagram page.

As the Da Ya Think I'm Sexy? singer posted the video on his page, Rod wrote in the caption: "Still love you, Elt. Rod xxx".

Rod and Rocketman singer Elton, who recently released a single with Britney Spears, have had a turbulent friendship over the years as the pair are famous for their frienemyship.

In the 1970s, Rod launched billboards to promote his Blondes 'ave More Fun tour and Elton responded by placing opposing them with his own face on, which read: "But Brunettes make more money".

Their humorous rift came to a head in 2018, when Rod called Elton's farewell tour "dishonest".

Speaking on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Rod said: "I did email her [Elton] and said, ‘What, again dear?'

"And I didn’t hear anything back!"

"If I retire, I won’t make an announcement. I’ll just fade away", he added.

Elton then responded in his autobiography as he wrote: "I thought he had a f***ing cheek, complaining about me promoting a tour while he was sat on a TV show promoting his own tour."

Rod later apologised, who said he was "bang out of order". And the pair now appear to be back to their pranking days with Rod's latest post.
