Rod Stewart has revealed his brother Bob has died - just two months after the singing legend lost his older sibling, Don.
The Scottish star, 77, took to Instagram on Wednesday to confirm the sad news, posting a picture of a candle with the caption: "It's with great sadness that I announce the loss of my brother Bob last night, who joins my brother Don on the great football pitch in the sky.
"I've lost two of my best mates in the space of two months. RIP Don and Bob 'irreplaceable buddies' Sir Rod Stewart."
Rod's heartfelt post was met with a flurry of support from his followers, including TalkTV's Piers Morgan, who replied: "How sad… deepest condolences to you all. RIP Bob."
Another fan wrote: "Sorry for your loss, Rod. My grandparents were friends with your parents, Rod. My nan told me that Don had a lovely voice. RIP."
Rod, who also has two sisters, Peggy and Mary, did not give a reason for Bob's death in his post.
The Sailing star's sad news comes after the rocker revealed in September his older brother Don had died aged 94 - just 48 hours before the passing of the Queen.
Taking to Instagram, the music icon wrote: "It has been a devastating 48 hours. We lost my brother Don on Tuesday at 94 and today we have all lost Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at 96.
"The Queen has been an unwavering presence throughout my life and a great unifier. A shining star that will never fade in our hearts and souls."
Rod sent his well wishes to the Royal Family while speaking about his pride when he performed at the Queen's platinum jubilee in June.
"What a privilege it was to perform for her," he said. "My deepest sympathies to the Royal Family. God save the King."
The singer shared an adorable family photo after performing for audiences around the world.
The rocker was all smiles beside wife Penny Lancaster, eldest daughter Kimberly, youngest son Aiden, daughter Ruby and sister Mary, as well as other family friends.
The photo was shared by Penny after her husband took to the stage at the Platinum Party in the Palace during which he sang Neil Diamond's Sweet Caroline.
She captioned the snap: "Happy Jubilee celebrations #platinumjubilee #family #buckinghampalace #thequeen."
Rod is currently on tour performing a selection of his greatest hits alongside new material.
His next gig is on Friday Dec 2 in Aberdeen at P&J Live.
