Rod Stewart celebrates Celtic's title win on stage surrounded by Hoops jerseys

Rod Stewart celebrated Celtic's title win by sharing a picture of himself and all his backing girls on stage in Hoops jerseys.

Lifelong Celtic fan Rod kicked off his world tour on Friday night, performing at Caesars Palace in Vegas.

He couldn't resist having an extra special celebration after his favourite team won the league.

Maggie May hitmaker Rod, who had already posed in a Celtic top by the Beverly Hills sign in LA a few days ago, decided to make a bigger occasion of things in Vegas.

Rod Stewart recently served behind the bar at the Dirty Duchess in Glasgow following Old Firm match (Dirty Duchess)

As he took to the stage he and six girls donned his green and white hoops jerseys at the famous casino venue of Ceasars Palace.

He wrote: "Champions again! #hailhail

Caesars put their hands up to celelbrate in emoji form while one fan urged: "We need Rod Stewart and Snoop Dogg to make a Celtic song."
