Sir Rod Stewart has apologised to Sir Elton John after launching into a savage impression of him while performing on stage.
The Sailing singer, 77, took to his Instagram to share the moment he decided to mimic the way Elton plays the piano during concerts.
Like his long-term sparring partner, Rod wore a pair of dramatic sunglasses that were perfectly round and covered in silver sequins.
Rod then proceeded to stick out his teeth and pull a serious face as he pretended to bash out a tune on a piano.
After sharing the clip to Instagram, Rod backtracked as he penned "Still love you, Elt. Rod xxx," in the caption.
The impersonation sent fans into a frenzy as they revelled in the rockers' ongoing feud in the comment section.
"Hmm wonder if Et will have a response lol," one user said while another added: "Omg im going mental laughing Rod so cool."
One user posted: "K don't make that face Rod," along with a laughing emoji.
Elton and Rod had a very public falling out back in 2018 after the Do Ya Think I'm Sexy singer took to US television to say Elton was 'money-grabbing' for starting a 300-date farewell tour.
He added that it was 'dishonest' and claimed the mammoth tour 'stinks of selling tickets'.
Thankfully, in 2021, Rod apologised to Elton in order to set a good example for his eight children.
He said: “I say to my kids, ‘A man apologises, go and apologise to your mother’. We’ve just made up as friends again, me and Elton.
“We’ve always been fierce enemies, as you know, through the years, but it’s always been at a playful level.
"But we had the worst row, like a married couple. It went on forever."

The two singers have known each other for over half a century and have always had a dramatic relationship, dubbing themselves Sharon and Phyllis.
After Sir Rod made the harsh comments about Elton, the Your Song icon took to his autobiography, Me, to hit back at him.
"I thought he had a f***ing cheek, complaining about me promoting a tour while he was sat on a TV show promoting his own tour," Elton wrote.
"I had no idea what I’d done to upset him so much, which was ironic, given the hours I’d put in over the years deliberately trying to annoy him."
The two have made up since and Rod said he 'regretted' making those comments about Elton's tour.
