Sir Rod Stewart has admitted he's a "bit of a fan" of Boris Johnson and people "knew what you were getting" when he was made Prime Minister.
The rocker was appearing on Sarah Jane Mee's Sky News broadcast this afternoon to discuss his upcoming UK tour and his bid to fund NHS care across the country after his infamous call to the same channel last year.
And as Sarah Jane quizzed the Celtic-daft music legend about his thoughts on Johnson's stepping down as an MP and the findings that he misled parliament over a series of lockdown parties, Rod revealed he was an admirer of the politician and praised his "wonderful charisma".
Rod said: "I was and still am, a bit of a fan.
"I think he’s got wonderful charisma, but you knew what you were getting with Boris.
"He's told a few porkies over the years, so I'm not surprised he’s in big trouble now."
Rod then joked: "How's he going to make a comeback? I don’t know, maybe he she should talk to me, I've been making comebacks for years."
