SFA president Rod Petrie is in contention to join UEFA's Executive Committee and will learn in April if he has been successful.
The former Hibs chief was involved with the Easter Road club from 2004 to 2019 when he left the board following Ron Gordon's acquisition of the Leith club. He was elected SFA president unopposed later that year and he is now among 11 contenders to join the top table at UEFA.
Petrie will find out if he has been elected at the 47th Ordinary UEFA Congress in Lisbon, Portugal on Wednesday April 5 this year. The 66-year-old is looking to join the committee headed up by UEFA president Alexander Ceferin while current elected members include Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Davor Suker.
