Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah stated in a speech that the group would resume confrontations on the border, clarifying that these actions were not in direct response to the recent killing of Hezbollah's senior military commander, Fu'ad Shukr.
Hezbollah, an Iran-backed Islamist movement known for its powerful paramilitary forces, operates primarily out of southern Lebanon. The recent deaths of three prominent figures in Iran-backed militant groups, who have a history of clashes with Israel, have heightened concerns about the potential for a broader conflict in the Middle East.
