Rockets at Spurs: Lineups, injury reports, broadcast and stream info for Friday

For a third time in barely over three weeks, the Houston Rockets will do battle with the in-state rival Spurs on Friday night in San Antonio. If you’re wondering how you can watch all the game action from South Texas live, you’ve come to the right place.

The road team won each of the first two games, with Houston winning at AT&T Center on Jan. 12 and the Spurs returning the favor at Toyota Center on Jan. 25. If it holds, that trend benefits the Rockets in a matchup of two of the Western Conference’s worst three teams by record.

Kevin Porter Jr. has been excellent at point guard for Houston in recent weeks, but the swing variable could be Jalen Green. The rookie shooting guard struggled mightily in last week’s loss at San Antonio, but he was very good in Wednesday’s home win over Cleveland. Should that form continue, it would give the Rockets a much better chance to win.

The key variable for the Spurs is the health of rising star Dejounte Murray, who was clearly their best player in both games against the Rockets. The young guard sat out Thursday’s loss to Miami with a left wrist sprain, but he was listed as questionable going in — which indicates that he is not far away. His return to the lineup would offer a huge boost.
