Rock star Liam Gallagher launches Christmas wrapping paper covered with his face

Rocker Liam Gallagher has the perfect treat for fans who want to Roll With It this Christmas – wrapping paper decorated with his face.

The gift wrap, which features 65 images of Liam per sheet, is being sold on a shopping site launched by the former Oasis frontman.

A source said: “Liam’s still got a massive fanbase. These could sell like hot cakes.”

Three sheets of black wrapping paper adorned with the 50-year-old’s mugshot will set fans back £5. There is also an “rkid” bauble on sale for £15 and a Santa stocking or hat for £25.

Other gift ideas include a teapot for £34.99 and a cup and saucer for £19.99. Shot glasses cost £8.99 while a bum bag is £14.99.

Liam’s site also gives a nod to his beloved Manchester City with a £14.99 baby romper suit in the team’s colours.

Bucket hats are £19.99, T-shirts cost £30 and hoodies are double that price.

A jigsaw puzzle featuring the Champagne Supernova star’s face is also available for £24.99 and there are duffel bags for £54.99.

The new venture comes after Liam’s Pretty Green clothing brand lost millions before a buyout by retailer JD Sports. But will any of the gifts be going to Liam’s older brother and former bandmate Noel? Definitely… well, Maybe.

Noel, 55, who has been at odds with Liam for years, said of his sibling’s previous retail venture: “Liam gave us a load of clobber. I went straight to the charity shop and left it in the shop doorway. He went mental.

“He said, ‘If you didn’t want it, you should have just said you didn’t want it’.

“It was on the shop mannequin in Barnardo’s a month before it launched. If push comes to shove, that was the beginning of the end.”

Fans are desperate for the Gallagher brothers to patch things up and arrange a comeback tour. It would be their greatest Christmas gift – whether it’s wrapped or not.
