Rochelle Humes' This Morning panic over 'warning' from ITV co-star Phillip Schofield

Rochelle Humes seemed genuinely startled by a 'warning' from her This Morning co-star Phillip Schofield, over the alarm that will go of on millions of phones this weekend, as part of a Government test.

On Sunday, April 23 a message, accompanied by a loud beep like noise, will be sent to smartphones across the UK, with the test reading: "This is a test of Emergency Alerts, a new UK government service that will warn you if there's a life-threatening emergency nearby.

"In a real emergency, follow the instructions in the alert to keep yourself and others safe. Visit gov.uk/alerts for more information. This is a test. You do not need to take any action."

The test became a hot topic on Tuesday's This Morning, but Rochelle had clearly heard nothing about it, as she looked slightly panicked as Phillip read out the details of what was going to happen.

Perhaps sensing Rochelle was clueless, Phillip remarked: "There'll be loads of people that don't know anything about this," prompted his co-host to throw her hands up and reply: "I didn't! I would have been thinking what on earth is going on at 3pm on Sunday!"

Phillip then explained that the alarm will sound on people's phones for 10 seconds, as the sound that will be used played out around the studio.

He added: "This is a test, but it's geo tagged and it's going to be localised. So if you live by a river that's about to flood, it will say 'the rver's about to flood, get out of your house."

As Phillip then asked 'are you a little bit scared?' to which Rochelle told him: "I get it, but it's just a bit...wow...ok."
