This Morning viewers were left divided by the talent on the show earlier this morning, despite it impressing presenters. Rochelle Humes and Andi Peters returned to the ITV programme today [August 17] to speak with best-selling author Lynda La Plante about her brand new book, Dark Rooms .
But the grilling novel was soon outshone by Lynda's own dog, 16-month-old Hugo, and his unusual opera singing talent. The white fluffy borzoi has previously garnered attention online with videos of him 'woofing' in time to music.

Andi begins to introduce Hugo by saying: "We've seen the videos where he will howl, sing..."
But then he gets interrupted by Rochelle who insists, "He sings, I don't think we can call it howl. He's an operatic singer."
As the show starts to play 'God Save the Queen', Hugo's eyes light up and he lifts his head back, preparing himself to join in with the music.
Then the large dog howls along to the tune for a few seconds, letting out one big bellow to finish it off.
The ITV presenters can be seen reacting in the background, with Rochelle smiling in amazement and Andi trying to encourage and imitate the dog.
Hugo soon sacked off the singing and resumed to sniffing the ground before wandering off-set, whilst the pair applaud his spotlight moment.
Rochelle says, chuckling: "It works. doesn't it? I've not heard him make a sound all morning", with Andi labelling it "brilliant".
Lynda explains that Hugo first began singing whilst watching the Gilded Cage and can "actually do different levels" - plus he even sings to adverts.
Some This Morning viewers were quick to praise the borzoi, calling Hugo a "Russian beauty", "beautiful" and "tele gold".
"Loved that interview and Hugo is adorable," someone wrote on Twitter.
"What a star Hugo is! Loved seeing you both on This Morning, made my day," a second said.
A few animal lovers posted their own videos of singing dogs that gave Hugo a run for his money.
But not everyone was so impressed - one viewer said: "First a screaming child, now a howling opera singing dog. Scrabbling for content This Morning?"
Another agreed, writing "Opera singing dog??!!" with an eye-rolling video clip.
