Rochelle Humes opened up about her personal life as she hosted This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield on Thursday.
The mother-of-three and the veteran TV presenter invited Vanessa Feltz into the ITV studio to conduct their latest phone in about grudges.
One caller using the name 'Sarah' revealed that she'd recently found that the man who she thought was her father, isn't actually her biological dad, and she's finding it hard to forgive her mum for lying.
Rochelle, 32, then turned to Phillip and said: "This is the sort of thing that would definitely make me very angry.
"Me and my dad didn't have a relationship but I always knew about him and my mum was very good at doing that. Had she not, it would definitely make me angry for sure.
Speaking directly to 'Sarah', Rochelle continued: "However, sometimes when you grow older - which is now for you - you may feel that you might actually understand her theory.
"Was he the sort of person she wanted around her? Was she trying to protect her from the truth and was the real story quite traumatic? And you'll never know that unless you talk," Rochelle added.
Rochelle's honesty comes after she opened up about losing a loved one in a recent Instagram post.
At the beginning of this month, the presenter thanked her 2.2million followers for the messages she has received and said she knows that she's been quiet on social media.
In wishing everyone a happy new year, Rochelle shared a montage of photos of her children - eight-year-old Alai-mai, four-year-old Valentina and one-year-old Blake - and husband Marvin enjoying the sun on holiday.
Captioning the post, she paid tribute to the loved one she had lost with a quote, calling them a "special person" who was "gentle, good and kind and have left the sweetest memories".
Rochelle wrote: " I wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year.
"Thank you for all of your messages, I know I’ve been quiet. Losing a loved one is never easy, so I’m trying to find my feet whilst holding my little family close and making some more memories.
“Although the world keeps turning and the sun comes up each day. Life has never been the same, since you were called away. You were such a special person, so gentle, good and kind and have left the sweetest memories and thoughts of you behind.
"I only wish there was a way, that I could see you one more time, to thank you for the joy you bought, into this life of mine," the former pop star added.
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV and ITV Hub.
