Rochelle Humes in fits of giggles after accidental rude comment on This Morning

Rochelle Humes was in hysterics this afternoon after making a suggestive comment on This Morning while standing in for regular host Holly Willoughby.

Rochelle and co-host Phillip Schofield were discussing the upcoming cooking segment with celebrity chef Phil Vickery, which featured a sandwich and soup combination.

Rochelle was poker faced as she said: “I will definitely dunk all Phil Vickery has to offer,” before saying "oh my God" and collapsing onto the table in hysterics.

Co-host Phillip Schofield laughed along and said of her saucy comment: “Normally I try to help, but I can't. You can't get out of that.

"If this show was recorded, we would go back and do it again. I can't help you.”

As Rochelle tried to recover, she said she really said the suggestive comment "from her chest" before giggling again as Phillip begged her to “stop speaking!” and told her to read from the teleprompter.

Viewers were quick to take to Twitter to laugh along with the co-hosts.

One joked: “Really Rochelle? Just don’t tell Marvin”

Another wrote: “Steady on, Rochelle.”

A third tweeted: “Oh Rochelle, and it's only Monday. Brilliant,” with a crying laughing emoji.

Rochelle was stepping in for Holly Willoughby on This Morning on Monday, as she takes a break from daytime TV to film a BBC show.

Holly Willoughby was given two weeks off ITV's This Morning, so she can present Wim Hof’s Superstar Survival alongside comedian Lee Mack.

Superstar Survival will see a whole host of famous faces take on Europe's harshest conditions in a bid to tackle their demons.

Holly will fly back to the UK at the weekends to film Dancing On Ice alongside Phillip.

“Can’t wait to hang out,” said Rochelle. “Keeping her seat warm.”
