Rochelle Humes and Elle Fanning dazzle at Top Gun Maverick premiere in Cannes

This Morning's Rochelle Humes was among the stars to dazzle the red carpet alongside A-listers such as Eva Longoria and Elle Fanning at the 75th annual Cannes Film Festival.

The presenter, and former Saturdays singer, turned heads as she arrived at the event wearing a see-through black floor-length gown.

It took little black dress to the next level of glamour, as the cut out backless number was both elegant and sexy as she gracefully arrived at the event.

Star of the show Tom Cruise also looked striking alongside his co-star, Jennifer Connelly, who were both dressed to the nines as they arrived at the premiere on Wednesday.

The actor, 59, finally returned to his famous role as LT Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell for the film, and he looked particularly dapper while walking the red carpet.

Cruise wore a classic black tuxedo, and Jennifer, 51, who plays Penny Benjamin, was the image of beauty in a stunning off-the-shoulder silver gown.

Actress Eva Longoria, 47, also looked gorgeous in an off-the-shoulder silver dress.

The metallic pattern almost mimicked that of a disco ball effect, and she definitely lit up the red carpet with her striking look.

The Desperate Housewives star also donned a pair of matching silver platforms, which you could see underneath the saucy slit at the back of her dress.

She was completely glowing as she paired the look with a smoky-eye which matched her dark, glossy sleeked-back hair perfectly.

Heavily pregnant Adriana Lima also showed off her blooming bump in a cut-out dress, while actress Elle Fanning, 24, looked princess-perfect in a strapless, pale pink gown.

Back in 2020 Cannes was completely cancelled, and went onto be held under strict rules in 2021.

This week marks the first time in two years that the red carpet returned in its full glitz and glory on Tuesday for the Opening Ceremony.

The festival was opened with a film named Final Cut, which has been described as a love letter to filmmaking with a touch of humour.

A host of TikTok stars are also set to walk the red carpet this year after organisers decided to try and re-vamp their image by teaming up with the video streaming platform, which is also sponsoring an award for short films.

Overall around 35,000 film professionals are thought to step foot in the festival between May 17 and 28.

Jeremie Tripet, manager of 'L'Avenue', a bistro just off the main drag known as La Croisette, told the Daily Mail : "We are ready. The town hall has just redone everything - the whole place - so we hope it will go well."
