Stephen Robinson's St Mirren celebrations after the historic triumph over Valur in the UEFA Conference League extended to a dram of whisky followed by an early night.
For his sons, Harry and Charlie, though, it was free drinks all night on account of the successes of the manager in the Paisley dugout. Robinson's boys joined a march to the SMiSA Stadium on Thursday for the first European tie in the town in 37 years.
After those precious 20 minutes of celebration for Robinson - at home with his wife and his two dogs - it was a quick message to his staff showing off his drink of choice and then back into work mode - well, other than living vicariously through videos taken by his sons when enjoying the occasion.
"I had plenty of videos to be seen and I think the two of them had free drinks all night at The Bankhouse pub," joked Robinson.
"They milked every last drop but that's good. You want your family there and you want them to enjoy these occasions.
"They've seen me miserable plenty of times so they've enjoyed it and they've embraced it at every club I've went to. They were Motherwell fans now they're St Mirren fans. They support me really well and it's very much appreciated.
"I would imagine my youngest one, Charlie, was saying my dad's the manager to get a few drinks! They're obviously proud to be part of it at this moment in time - and probably the free drinks as well!"

On his, admittedly, quieter celebrations, he added: "A wee whisky and then straight to bed! A whisky or a Guinness. Not too much because you are straight back in the next day. We allow ourselves after a win to enjoy it for probably about 20 minutes.
"We send each other a picture of a whisky shot or a pint, whatever they are drinking to celebrate. Then, we are back in again the next morning.
"It was just me and my wife and two dogs - actually, my son Harry was there last week as well.
"One wee whisky to say well done and then you go to bed and crack on again.
"As every manager will tell you, when you lose games it takes about a week to get over, when you win games you enjoy it for 20 minutes and it's onto the next; which team, which injuries, which problem are you coming in to face the next day.
"It's intense but this is what we all work for, you work to be involved in these occasions. If you are a successful side it is intense and it's full on with no rest. That's what we all wanted."
Robinson is plotting another famous win in Paisley but admits the main objective is keeping the tie alive before heading to Norway next week.
He said: "Obviously it is our home game and we want to get a result. We're setting out to win the game. We'll pick a team to win the game. But we have to make sure we're within touching distance of the opponents going into the second leg."
