Leeds United fell to a disappointing 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United at Elland Road, which saw them miss the chance to win three consecutive Premier League matches for the first time all season.
The game had been open throughout but the Whites had edged it on chances, with Daniel James having two very good chances to score in each half.
However, Newcastle took the lead midway through the second half and Leeds struggled to respond.
After the game, Robin Koch said: "It's frustrating for us. We played not a bad game and created a lot of chances we missed to score a goal, then you concede and lose this game."
The German was asked about the sloppiness of the goal, where Leeds turned the ball over in midfield which led to a cheap free-kick on the edge of their box. Jonjo Shelvey then scored from that free-kick but Illan Meslier will feel frustrated not to have kept it out.
"We played good until the last section of the pitch but we just need to score.
"One goal like this you concede when you don’t score," replied Koch.
Speaking about Leeds' response to the goal, where the Whites struggled to create any meaningful chances, Koch added:
"After the goal we conceded it’s difficult because we put everything into the game. Everyone of us put 100% into this game but we couldn’t get anything from it. We will recover and go again."
