Roberto Firmino has handed Liverpool a scare ahead of Sunday's Premier League blockbuster against Manchester City by missing training.
Firmino was not among the players spotted at the AXA Training Centre as the Reds were put through their paces at Kirkby on Friday afternoon.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had spoken earlier in the day of how he was expecting to choose from a full-strength squad for the weekend trip to the Etihad. But the absence of Firmino from club images of the latest training session has cast some doubt over the Brazilian's involvement.

The forward came off the bench to play the last 29 minutes of Tuesday's 3-1 Champions League quarter-final first leg win at Benfica, having played the full 90 minutes in last weekend's 2-0 Premier League triumph at home to Watford.
Firmino has suffered three separate muscle problems this season and was also sidelined having contracted coronavirus over the Christmas period.
The remainder of Klopp's senior squad took part in Friday's session, where they were joined by youngsters Rhys Williams and Tyler Morton.
