Liverpool should not even contemplate selling Roberto Firmino in the January transfer window. That’s the verdict of the vast majority of Reds fans who took part in the ECHO's 'Keep or Sell' poll.
The Brazilian is out of contract at the end of the season and is yet to sign a new deal, with Bayern Munich one of a number of teams reportedly plotting a move for the 31-year-old.
However, with Firmino proving one of the Reds’ most impressive performers this season, 80% of Liverpool supporters have said they would hang on to him.

That was the clearest outcome of the six potential January departures who were put to the vote, with fans opting to ditch three players.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain may have started the last three Premier League matches for the Reds but 72% of fans would be happy for the 29-year-old, who joined Liverpool from Arsenal for £35m in August 2017, to leave in this window.
Naby Keita has only just forced his way back into first-team contention after a hamstring injury but it has come too late to convince fans of his long-term worth for the Reds. Another player out of contract in the summer, he is yet to replicate the kind of form which persuaded the Reds to pay RB Leipzig £52.75m, and 70% of respondents believe now is the time for the club and player to part ways.
The situation is not quite so clear-cut with backup goalkeeper Adrian. However, with the 36-year-old having been restricted to just one appearance this term - in the Community Shield - 55% of fans would be happy for him to depart this month.
Nat Phillips has been similarly underused, with the centre-back having made just two starts in all competitions this term. Nevertheless, Virgil van Dijk’s hamstring injury has persuaded 57% of respondents that the 25-year-old is worth retaining, through January at least.
And finally, it will be a sad day when James Milner finally departs Anfield. Thankfully, a majority of Reds fans are happy to put that off to the summer, at least, with 69% opting to keep the popular utility player past the current window.
