Robert Woods Shares Epic One-Word Reaction to Being Cut by Titans

The Titans freed up some cap space on Wednesday, releasing a trio of players including Taylor LewanRobert Woods and Randy Bullock. The moves will save the Titans more than $25 million against the cap, opening up some much-needed financial flexibility

It seems Woods isn't too upset about the decision from the organization.

The veteran wide receiver had a disappointing season during his first year in Tennessee. He was due to make $13.75 million next season while carrying just a $2.6 million dead cap hit.

After his release from Tennessee, Woods took to Twitter to announce his newfound freedom, posting a one-word comment on the situation.

“Free!” Woods wrote on Twitter.

Woods joined the Titans on a four-year, $65 million deal ahead of the 2022 NFL season. The deal featured just $16.25 million in guaranteed money, enabling the two sides to part ways after just one year.

Across his lone season in Tennessee, the 30-year-old featured in all 17 games, logging 53 receptions on 91 targets for 527 yards and two touchdowns. Despite playing in eight more games, Woods had fewer receiving yards in 2022 than he did in his final year with the Rams in ’21.

Clearly, the 10-year veteran wasn't content with his role on the Titans, and he'll now get a chance to test free agency once again in hopes of landing in a more suitable situation.
