Robert Williams III’s play with the Boston Celtics is slowly improving

Given how important the former Texas A&M standout is to the postseason potential of the Boston Celtics, the amount of ink spilled over the health and abilities of starting Celtics center Robert Williams III is understandable. But those of us who have put the Timelord under the microscope out of concern for what he might not be able to do come spring may have missed what he is able to do now on the court — and how it has been slowly improving over the course of the 2022-23 NBA season.

The Louisiana native started this campaign in rehab after a clean-up operation on his surgically-repaired knee. Since returning to the team, Williams looked tentative and less explosive early, but less so with each game he plays.
