Robert Wall dead: Martial arts master who acted alongside Bruce Lee dies aged 82

Martial arts master Robert Wall, who acted alongside stars Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee has died at the age of 82.

No cause of death has been revealed as of yet.

The star was a 9th degree Tang Too Do black belt and trained under Chuck who had brought the discipline to the West.

His family said in a statement to TMZ : "Bob was the greatest husband and father. Family was Everything to him.

"He lived a remarkable life & There is a hole in our hearts that will never be filled. His spirit & legacy will live on forever within us. He was our rock."

Robert featured in hit martial arts movies, such as Way of the Dragon and Enter the Dragon alongside martial arts icon Bruce Lee.

In the action movie Enter the Dragon he and Bruce had a real fight on film which resulted in Robert breaking his ribs.

Robert admitted years later how the actor said: "Bob, I wanna hit you, and I wanna hit your hard,” in a bid to make the scene look as authentic as possible.

He also admitted in 2017 that he had to fall on real glass during the scene, which was shot five or six times.

He starred as the evil O'Hara in what has gone on to be the most famous martial arts movie of all time.

However, he confessed that he didn't think director Robert Clouse "didn't respect us" as they weren't actors, but were martial artists.

Robert also starred alongside his training and business partner Chuck in films such as Game of Death, Code of Silence, Firewalker and Hero and the Terror.

He also won the US professional Karate Championship in 1970 and was the co-founder and CEO of Black Belt Inc.

Another penned: "May da Almighty God judge u fairly..ROBERT WALL #RIP"

And a third also wrote: "RIP," alongside a praying hands emoji.
