Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona transfer 'agreed' as stunning coup could supercharge Xavi's Nou Camp revolution

Barcelona have reportedly pulled off a stunning coup by agreeing a deal to sign goal machine Robert Lewandowski.

Numerous Polish publications, including Interia Sport, are claiming the 33-year-old Bayern Munich frontman has agreed a three-year deal with the Spanish giants.

Lewandowksi has been playing his football in Germany since 2010 when he joined Borussia Dortmund from Lech Poznan.

The frontman then switched to bitter Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich where he has won seven league titles and the Champions League.

Catalan giants Barca have been desperate to land a top striker to lead the revolution under Nou Camp legend Xavi.

Lewandowski’s agent Pini Zahavi had been in talks with the La Liga side but now reports in the striker’s homeland claim personal terms have been agreed, though with a year still to run on his deal in Bavaria there are more obstacles to be overcome with some suggestions the player could invoke a clause to end it early.

A string of top European clubs including English Premier League rivals Liverpool and Manchester City as well as PSG had all been linked with the frontman but he has reportedly opted to join Barca.
