Robert Kraft commented on Bill O’Brien being back with Patriots

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is on board with offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien, as the 2023 offseason begins to get underway. Kraft was at a breakfast in Phoenix on Friday and expressed his support for the coach.

O’Brien began his first stint in New England in 2007 as an offensive assistant. He became offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 2011 after serving multiple roles within the organization.

Multiple Patriots players have expressed their support for O’Brien being back. Mac Jones was perhaps most notable of them, as the 2023 season will be an important one for him. In the meantime, Kraft is excited about the offense’s potential, as reported by the Boston Globe’s Jim McBride.

The Patriots could have a chance to put themselves back into contention with a successful 2023 season. An offensive coordinator endorsement from the owner is certainly a positive sign.
