Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Qualifies For Colorado Presidential Ballot

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. announces his vice presidential candidate in Oakland

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has successfully qualified for the presidential ballot in Colorado, as confirmed by the state's elections office on Thursday. This achievement comes after Kennedy's campaign submitted over 30,000 signatures to the Colorado Secretary of State's office in July. Of these signatures, 21,702 were verified as valid, surpassing the requirement of 12,000 valid signatures for independent candidates to be listed on the state's ballot.

It is noteworthy that Kennedy's campaign pursued ballot access as an independent candidate, despite receiving the endorsement of the Libertarian Party of Colorado. The Libertarian Party of Colorado had expressed its intention to nominate Kennedy on its party line within the state. Additionally, Libertarian candidate Chase Oliver has indicated his plans to file the necessary paperwork to secure the Libertarian party line in Colorado.

With ballot access in these states, Kennedy is now eligible to receive a total of 155 electoral college votes.
