Robby McCrorie is set to quit Rangers this summer after seeing his route to Giovanni van Bronckhost's first team blocked once more, according to a report. The Light Blues' No3 is entering the final 12 months of his current deal at Ibrox but it is claimed he will not sign an extended deal as he looks to move on and kick-start his career elsewhere.
Rangers run the risk of losing the highly-rated talent next summer on a free unless they do a deal that would see McCrorie bring his time at the club to an end. Herald and Times report he was given assurances that he was part of the plans this season but they say he feels he has no option to quit and avoid another season of watching on from the bench with limited action.
Manchester United are one club reportedly keen on snapping up the Scotland squad goalkeeper with Erik ten Hag looking for cover in that area.

Dean Henderson and Tom Heaton are both wanted by Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough while Lee Grant has left for Ipswich and fifth-choice Nathan Bishop could head out on a loan deal. Other English clubs are also monitoring the situation at Ibrox as McCrorie gears up for a return to pre-season training with Van Bronckhorst and Co.
Allan McGregor has penned a new one-year deal at the club but Jon McLaughlin is reportedly set to get his chance as No1 at Rangers. The veteran was contemplating retirement but has decided to continue his playing career for another season. McCrorie made two appearances for Rangers last season against Alashkert in the Europa League and in an Old Firm clash with Celtic.
He previously spent stints out on loan at Berwick Rangers, Morton, Queen of the South and Livingston but it looks like he could be on the move permanently this summer after reportedly becoming disillusioned with the goalkeeping situation at the club.
