Robbie Williams tries on his wife bra and jokes he's put on so much weight he needs it

Singer Robbie Williams has admitted that he's not in the same stellar shape that he was in during his heartthrob prime in the 90's and early 2000s.

Next month (June 4) will mark the singer's homecoming concert at his beloved Vale Park, with a further 10,000 tickets set to on sale tomorrow (May 6).

However, if William's latest Instagram live session is anything to go on then fans should expect to see a different version of him than they are used to.

The ex-Take That singer, 48, joked his expanding chest may even require wife Ayda Field's bras.

He modelled one during an Instagram Live session to launch her activewear line and quipped: "There is a lot more oestrogen around these parts than there used to be but with this I feel like I am held in place.

"I do really like it. They can wobble about when I jump up and down and I'm trying to be sexy but how sexy can you be when your breasts are going up and down for a man."

Dad-of-four Robbie, who stripped to tiger briefs for his Rock DJ video in 2000, will entertain fans at his beloved Port Vale's ground in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, for his homecoming concert on June 4.

He added: "I might have to wear a bra on stage. It is really holding my back in place too. Lads, don't be ashamed to wear a support bra for all your daily needs."

Next month's gig is his first in the UK since 2017.

The eagerly anticipated-gig in Burslem will be Robbie's first ever show in his hometown. He will 'run out' on to the Vale Park pitch on June 4, fulfilling a childhood dream to play on his local team’s hallowed ground – albeit with a microphone in hand and without football boots.

He added: "It'll be incredibly emotional. This is home. It feels really good."
