Captain Robbie Ure headed a late double as holders Rangers dumped Hibs 3-2 to set up a Youth Cup Final clash with Hearts.
The striker nodded home in the 82nd and 84th minutes in East Mains after the Gers youngsters had twice fought back from going behind.
Rangers, hunting an eighth success in the competition, got off to the worst start when Josh O’Connor - son of former Easter Road hero Garry - fired home a fourth minute penalty.
Charlie Lindsay equalised for Rangers 16 minutes later only for O’Connor to thunder home a stunning second to send Hibs in 2-1 ahead at the interval.
Rangers refused to buckle though and levelled for a second time through Charlie Lindsay in the 75th minute before Ure’s late brace settled a thrilling encounter.
They will now meet Hearts, who saw off Inverness in the other semi final last month, in a repeat of the 2014 final which Rangers won on spot kicks after a 2-2 draw.
The final, at a venue to be confirmed, will be played on April 27.
