Robbie Keane would consider moving abroad for a managerial role.
The Ireland legend ‘would love to be a manager’ in his own right having been an assistant with Middlesbrough and Ireland up to now.
Before that, he had a brief spell as player-manager with Indian side ATK.
Keane, 42, has been linked with some jobs in England, including the Hull City post in October before Liam Rosenior was appointed.
But the former striker has not ruled out managing in America, where he was a MLS star player for LA Galaxy.
Keane told the ‘We Are Liverpool’ podcast: “I love helping young players with coaching. I would definitely love to be a manager at some stage, I'd definitely love to give that a go.
"I definitely think it will happen at some stage but it's just picking the right one and getting the right opportunity. That's why I wouldn't be frightened to go abroad.
"If the right opportunity came up, whether that be in the MLS or abroad somewhere, I would definitely give it a go."
