Robbie Keane is interested in taking the Hull City job, it has been reported.
Ireland's record goalscorer has made it no secret that he intends to get into management one day and has had a number of coaching jobs in the past.
Keane currently serves as a technical advisor for UEFA but appears to be waiting for the right opportunity to get into management.
And Hull Live is reporting that he is interest ed in the vacant Hull City job.
Hull parted ways with boss Shota Arveladze after a poor start to the season, having lost five games on the trot.
Keane himself has coached in the past and even served as player manager for Indian side ATK after Teddy Sheringham was sacked from the job.
Keane would take charge for three games, winning two.
He has also had assistant roles with both Ireland and Middlesbrough.
Other names linked to the Hull City role are Carlos Carvalhal, Sean Dyche and Pedro Martins.
