Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler is on the hunt for a manager's job in England, but is prepared to go back overseas if opportunity fails to knock.
The Kop hero scored 183 goals over two spells at Anfield, earning himself the nickname 'God' by adoring Liverpool supporters. Since retiring from playing he has gone on to manage Muangthong United (where he started as player-manager), Brisbane Roar and East Bengal. But despite having a handful of short-term coaching roles in England he is yet to secure a management job on home turf.
The 47-year-old was a late inclusion in Liverpool's Masters team in Glasgow last week, typically getting himself on the scoresheet as the Reds went on to lift the trophy after beating Manchester United 5-3 in the final.

But speaking after the triumph, Fowler revealed that he has so far been frustrated in his efforts to land a manager's job in the UK, having made numerous applications for jobs, none of which have been successful.
He said: “I have managed in Thailand, India and Australia now, and my aim is to manage in this country. I’m here now and looking for a job. But if it doesn’t materialise then I will have no problem going abroad again.”
Towards the end of his playing days, the Toxteth-born striker enjoyed a spell in Australia with North Queensland Fury and Perth Glory before helping the coaching staff of MK Dons on an ad-hoc basis. He then briefly joined the coaching staff at Bury to assist then-manager Richie Barker before spending another short spell coaching the strikers at Liverpool in April 2011.
But three months later, he resurrected his playing career in Thailand with Muangthong United, where he would eventually get his first proper taste of club management.
