Gavin and Stacey star Rob Brydon has confirmed that the show's Christmas finale will bring closure to all the main storylines.
Set to air on Christmas Day, the episode will finally see the resolution of the dramatic proposal cliffhanger.
Speaking on Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Davina McCall, Brydon, who is expected to reprise his role as Stacey's Uncle Bryn, spilled the beans.
But he admitted hasn't seen the full script.
He joked: "Having read it, they handled Bryn's funeral really sensitively! I was worried I wasn't going to be in it, but they've got loads of flashbacks!"
He added: "Do you know what, I know some of the stuff that happens, but I don’t think any of the cast have seen the script yet. They told me one or two little bits and bobs, and I believe it does wrap it all up."
Viewers will be left pleased that they may finally uncover the truth about the infamous fishing trip.
Last month creators James Corden and Ruth Langsford revealed that the script was done.
They wrote it last year after Corden moved back to the UK following eight years hosting the Late, Late Show in Los Angeles.
The pair have gone to great lengths to prevent leaks.
Not even the BBC's director of comedy, Jon Petrie, has been allowed to read it.
Petrie said: “I genuinely still haven't seen the script, James and Ruth won't let us look at it yet.
“They are really keeping it under wraps and don't want people to see it outside of their very, very tight circle until they're 100 percent certain of it.”
Mathew Horne and Joanna Page are set to return alongside Brydon, Alison Steadman and Larry Lamb.
