Rob Beckett shared a glimpse of the chaotic bedtime he experienced with his two young daughters.
The comedian, who shares the girls with wife Louise, took to Instagram to document details of the seemingly peaceful nighttime routine with his followers.
Rob, who recently fooled viewers of The Masked Singer into thinking he was Traffic Cone, confessed he believed his daughters had gone to bed without fuss, until he went upstairs and saw the carnage left on the landing.
“Smooth Bedtime,” Rob captioned the video.
“I thought, ‘they’ve gone to bed well’, come upstairs, and seen this,” he said, as he panned the camera over the mess on the floor.
Several Barbie toys, as well as fancy dress outfits, were strewn across the landing, and Rob had one more surprise in store for his followers, as he turned the camera towards the wall.
“And they’ve written ‘p*ss’ on the wall, twice,” Rob said, showing the letter stickers spelling out the word adorning the wall above a light switch.
However, his famous friends were tickled by the chaotic scenes, as Jonathan Ross commented: “Can you please put me in touch with your Interior Designers? I am looking for a hall just like that.”
“Repetition cements learning,” one follower joked.
“They spelt it correctly so… it’s a win,” another quipped.
“It’s the care taken to do it so neatly in silver stickers that did me,” one wrote, as another advised: “Silence is never a good thing with kids lol.”
“Got to give them marks for correct spelling,” a follower commented, as one wrote: “Definition of parenting in 1 video. Amazing.”
Rob regularly documents his life as a dad on his podcast with fellow funnyman Josh Widdicome, Parenting Hell, but he prefers to keep his daughters out of the spotlight, and hides their faces if they appear in any videos or pictures on social media.
He previously posted a snapshot of a heartbreaking drawing one of his daughters had left him, asking for him to come home after working away.
“Been away for the last 4 nights on tour. Just come back to my own wanted poster in my own house. Some serious parent guilt today,” Rob captioned the snap, which showed a portrait of him accompanied with the words: “Wanted. Rob Beckett.”
