Rob Beckett issues warning to British Airways travellers after 'weird mess'

British Airways customers have been warned of the 'weird mess' currently going on by comedian Rob Beckett.

The airline has recently cancelled and delayed a high number of flights, putting it down to staff shortages due to the coronavirus pandemic. In turn this has created chaos among travellers.

It appears the father-of-two had been caught up in the mayhem of the airports as he took to Twitter to share his experience. He had been travelling to take his children on a dream holiday to Walt Disney World.

He said: "This is a public service announcement. Avoid @British_Airways until they have sorted out their IT and staff problems. Absolute shambles. They are all over the place. Especially if you’re travelling with kids. Fingers crossed we have a flight home. They aren’t sure." He followed the post with a few laughing face emojis.

Rob later added: "To be clear I’ve flown @British_Airways loads of times on holiday and with work. They have always been decent. It’s just a weird mess at the moment."

Despite the travel issues, the comedian said he and his family had the "best holiday ever." Rob shared a badge from Disney which showed it was the family's first visit to the popular resort.
