Almost 150 Wirral roads are due to be fixed up over the summer.
Wirral council has released details of the 147 roads in the borough that will be worked on over the summer period. The roadworks will be in place to allow road resurfacing as well as surface treatment.
Multiple roads will be closed at different period during the summer, such as Church Road, Birkenhead, which will be closed from Friday, August 19 to Wednesday, August 24 due to roadworks. Over 50 pavements will also be maintained over the summer.

The works are part of a £5.8m investment into the borough's road network from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. The roads that are to be repaired were chosen via an independent condition survey, inspections by highways staff and enquiries from council members and local residents.
