A woman rammed her car into another, shunting it along several feet, at a petrol station in rage.
The footage, which has gone viral on social media, showed a black car at one of the pumps being hit from behind at the Applegreen petrol station in Duleek, County Meath, on Tuesday.
A silver Toyota could be seen driving up and banging into a parked black Ford, which moved several feet forward due to the impact.
The woman driving the Toyota then drew her car level with the Ford, got out, and then started hurling abuse at the other driver who stayed inside her vehicle.
She was then seen throwing a drink's can at the windscreen of the black car as she continued to shout.
It's unclear what angered the woman initially, with the video starting as she rammed the car from behind - but her own number plate could be seen hanging down before she shunted the other vehicle.
The woman, who was wearing a purple raincoat, after drawing level with the other car and getting out, was heard shouting: “I hope you still have the Gardai on your phone. You f*****g horrible b***h.”
After throwing the can at the window, which didn't appear to cause any damage, the woman peered into driver’s window of the black car and shouted again: “You horrible b***h.”
The woman looked at the back of the Ford, possibly to see the damage, and then went to her own car, at which point the footage ended.
Police in Ireland said it was investigating the incident.
A Gardai spokesperson told The Mirror: 'Gardai are investigating a two-vehicle road traffic collision that occurred at a commercial premises on the R152 near Duleek, Co. Meath at approximately 9:40am on Tuesday 10th January 2023. No injuries were reported. Enquiries are ongoing."
Many people commented on social media with one person tweeting: "Good luck with the next insurance quote."
Another said: "That’s going to cost a lot of money. Some solicitors are rubbing their hands with the fees on this one."
While one Twitter user wrote: "Something happened beforehand, look at her reg, stop judging."
