Scottish Water is advising road users in Mauchline of some temporary roadworks to enable repairs to ironworks in the area.
From Sunday, July 9, a short stretch of the A76 Earl Grey Street will be closed between its junction with Mansfield Road and Loudoun Street.
A section of Mansfield Road where it meets the A76 will also be shut.
With a low bridge in the area two diversion routes will be in place.
High-sided vehicles should follow A76, A719, A77, A70, B730, B7046, A70, A76 to continue their onward journey.
Low-sided vehicles (anything below 4.2 metres) should follow A76, A719, A77, A70, A76 to their onward journey.
The road closure is from 9.30am on Sunday 9 July until around 6am on Monday 10 July, 2023.
Scottish Water would like to thank all road users and the local community for their patience and understanding during these essential works.
Drivers are advised to leave extra time for travel and to follow diversion signs which will be in place.
