A road was closed for hours after a man died.
Officers were called to Queensway in Wallasey at 8.35pm on Monday, December 5. People living in the area said they saw "police, ambulances and fire engines everywhere".
They added the road was also blocked off for hours as emergency services dealt with the incident. Today, a spokesperson for Merseyside Police said confirmed emergency services were called to the "non-suspicious death" of a man.

The road has since reopened and the incident has cleared. A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "It relates to a non-suspicious death [of a man]. We were called at 8.35pm last night."
